I miss my parachute bear!

I went to Marina Barrage with my cute, powerful and strong parachute bear kite that TS gave to me a few weeks ago. This is my very first kite and it meant a lot to me.

For the very first time, on my own, I set up the kite, launch it, and was very excited to see it fly. :)

However, this did not last long. The wind was insufficient at that point of time to keep my bear up in the sky. In just seconds, my bear fall at such a high-speed that I did not managed to recoil the string back in time. It falls straight into the fountain and trapped in between the gap of the glass railings. We spent 2 hrs trying to retrieve it but to no avail. Eventually, we left Marina Barrage feeling really bad without my bear.

I called up the info counter early the next morning to make a report. They say they will contact me if they retrieve my kite, but up till now, there’s no news from them. My Sis went back to the fountain in the afternoon, but my bear could no longer be found... If someone has taken it, I really hope that the person will treasure it as much as I do.

My only and last photo of my parachute bear flying.

Lesson learned: I must not be too over confident to think that I will never lose the things that are very precious to me. I need to treasure them.
To my dear bear, I'm sorry that I failed to treasure you. You are dearly missed. No other can ever replace you in my heart...
