Mixed feelings

I'm having mixed feelings. Saw the weakness in friendship, and how it breaks so easily.

Truly, only the relationship I have with Jesus will last forever.

The ethos of our church - Others!

Pastor Joakim shared a heart-tugging sermon on the Empress of Ireland yesterday, about how a group of 120 salvation army's youth sacrifice their lives so that others, who have yet known Jesus will get a chance to live.

This is the second time I hear this sermon but I was re-inspired to live a life for others.

To remind myself always to be other-centred, I designed a wallpaper :)

Think BIG

Visited Louis Vuitton Website today and really like the way they design their ads. Below are some of my favourite screen shots.

There's a difference between luxury brands and normal brands. Luxury brands carried themselves well and they think big. Nothing is too difficult, and the sky is the limit. I'm challenged to think bigger and dream bigger!

Why not dream of owning a private jet? Why not live in the heart of the city? At the same time, serving God and Pastors, not compromising to the standards of the world, but living a life with God's favour and blessing. God is a big God, as long as we can dream it, God is way able to.

The bible says: 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, - Ephesians 3:20.

Time to get out of my small 'boxed world' to think BIG. (:

Right now, I'm in the midst of sourcing for a new blogskin. Meanwhile, I really like this black and cool looking skin. Some people may think that it look so simple, but isn't being simple better?

God, I need peace in my heart about this. perhaps it's just time to go?

Just had a great and awesome Beyond camp at Orientus Resort!! It's increditable! love the hangouts, and the resort is really awesome. Felt so close to nature, counting stars.

The air there seems a little fresher as well!

Day 1
I took leave on Day 1, and it's simply fun. Love the photo hunt, where we explore the whole camp site's surrounding, to spot the actual, according to the photo taken. My team works together and had lots of fun spotting, taking, laughing, running.

Did forfiet during the ice breaker. It's so fun dancing "Nobody nobody but you.. i wanna nobody nobody but you..." by our "famous by now" - Wonder G! Esmonde lead us in the dance. He rocks la.

Did another forfeit and wrote "HEART OF GOD CHURCH" with our butts. hahah, it's so funny..

More than just fun, Service on Day 1 impacted me greatly. Garrett share with us the heart of Pastor How and Pastor Lia, and how they are just like King David, wanted to build God a house, and laid the foundations for the work, but it shouldn't end there, because Solomon was the one who completed the house of God.

Solomon live the dream of David, and took ownership of that dream. King David have many sons, but why is Solomon chosen? It's because he place his father's dream above his own dream, and with all his heart, took ownership.

I'm challenged and decided that I will live the dream of Pastor Lia and Pastor How, to raise up the foundations of many generations, loving the youth, and to build a prototype church, to impact the society and the nations, and to be a spiritual daughter of Pastors, taking ownership of my church financially, building atmosphere, pulling down the presence of God, and taking care of people, serving in ministries.

Ended the day hanging out at the swimming pool with becky, samuel, ai zhen, yun, alex, terrance & eugene at 2.30am.

Shower & Slept at 3.30am

Day 2
Wake up at 6.20am to prepare to go to work, and to catch the morning breakfast at 7am. Met Smauel, becky and hui yun for breakfast. Though the food tasted below average, it's a great time to eat together.

Had a busy and "easily distracted" day at work, felt feverish and drank 2 cups of black coffee to no avail.

I was so worried that I couldn't make it through the service with Pst Troy Marshall, and kept praying throughout the day that God will speak to me during the service, and that I will not miss out on God.

And indeed, God answered my prayers! Pst Troy started the service with a prophetic word, encouraging us to hold on to the vision that God has given, that do not be distracted by man, but keep our focus on God. Wow! It reassured me on all the vision God has showed me before and that it shall all come to pass!

Pst Troy also prayed for a refreshing fire to come upon me. Yes, that's what I need. Refuel!

The "feverish" feeling left me too!

Travelled back to resort at 11.30pm, and took a nap on bus. And short naps really works! I felt so energentic for the rest of the night! Had dinner at 1.30am, and together with samuel, becky, yun, nina, ai zhen, terrance, we go around making ppl laugh, knocking on their doors and dance nobody, banana dance, hogc with butts etc. Haha..

After "clearing" most rooms, we went back to the swimming pool, and watch the starry night sky. I always love stars and am so excited when I see them. Left at around 3.30am, and we hangout in Jackson's room before going back to sleep at 4am.

Day 3
Kenneth and Miaow was so funny. They stood outside my room door at 6.30am, wanted to wake me up. Am really touched as they just wanna make sure that I am not be late for work.

Had breakfast with samuel, hao, jackson, becky and many others before travelling to work, which I am currently at now. Haha.

It has been an awesome 3 days for me. Felt refreshed in the spirit, re-aligned my dreams and vision, and enjoyed great fellowship with the coolest people on earth.

Today have been a long day! But, somehow, I think I've got back the sparkle and the passion to go on. Encouraged by some of the conversation I had and also through God. Have been praying short prayers and talk to God throughout the day, and He encourage me to go on, and somehow, I feel the strength coming back.

Clearing my work now in the office. Plan to stay late to finish all that's outstanding as I'll be on leave on Monday, for my sis's ROM!

Looking forward to next week! It will be a week full of buzz and excitement.

Feel really tired this morning. Need a new passion to wake up every morning. Is it time to move on?

These 2 days have been really busy for me. Multi-tasking almost every minute in the office. Many things are "chasing" after me, and I know I need to increase in capacity.

Really miss Shu Hui. Thought of her today. How have you been?

Meeting Elaine this Sat for lunch! Really look forward to it.

Also, wanna say a happy belated birthday to Garrett! Thank you for always being there for me all these years. You are my source of encouragement and inspiration. Thank you :)

My sister brought a very lovely dress for her ROM yesterday! :)

Today have been a busy day for me.. there is so much things to accomplish, yet so little time.. still have things that are outstanding. Target to finish em' all tomorrow.
Looking forward to the days coming up. It's going to be an action-packed week.

My day was a little grey today..

had insomnia last night.. it was just those rare nights where I simply can't fall asleep, and my mind seems very conscious.
Trying to survive today with 40 min of "sleep", and it requires lots of will-power.. haha. But glad that I manage to stay awake throughout my work.

My hp died with smses stucked in it's outbox, that was never sent out.. Re started it twice but still didn't help.. It's time for it to meet it's maker. Bringing it for servicing one of these day.

Meeting my mum and sis in a while's time to shop for my sis's ROM dress. Very excited and look forward to the ceremony on 080609.

Wishing my sis a blissful marriage! :)
